Personally I love Sackur: by his own lights he is curious and pursues the truth ( a phrase he used in the show).
My criticism of Hard Talk and its presenters is that their "rigorous criticism" stops short ofof evaluating or questioning their own philosophical premises.
Show ended with a "Hard Talk group hand shake". Presumably a euphemism.
