In the recent season 2 finale, Michael Lennox (Dennis Quaid) is saved from being killed when Sgt.Eric Odegard (in his newly-acquired bright yellow parka!) shoots a member of the extraction team.

My question is - where has Eric been for the last few episodes? I'm sure he was killed off?

Also, did anyone else think that this episode had a rather "hurried" feel to it and contained events that seemingly came out of nowhere?
