Chaser answered Kate Middleton. In my opinion wrong answer. She hasn't been Kate Middleton for over three years. Am I being pedantic?

She is not Princess of Wales, yet. That title properly belongs to Camilla.
Catherine Elizabeth Mountbatten-Windsor (Nee Middleton).

Should cover most bases.
It was the same with the Duchess of York who was always called Sarah Ferguson or mostly Fergie.I don't think you are being pedantic NellieMay I think the answer should have been what her name is now and not what it used to be.
I still use my maiden name for all financial affairs (reverted to it after divorce and it was my legal name in France - not a bad idea to keep your birth name for all legalities). You can be called what you want in this country, so married name for social - family name for legal/financial. It does cause a few problems here but HMRC and Nat. Ins. seem to be able to cope with it. So I consider her to be Katherine Middleton, married name Duchess of etc.. and would have accepted the answer.
With Royals, there are many names. Just because you do not have the current title should not matter.
In a popular quiz, as long as you have the right person, their title should not matter.
Lady Di would be an acceptable answer for Prince Harry's mother. So Kate Middleton should be acceptable for George's mum.
Which Prince George - I'm sure that there has been more than one!

Forgetting all the titles,
Her official married name is Catherine Mountbatten Windsor.
Am I being pedantic?
well I wish others were:

// Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.//

has made her a widow

[ so of course it has best answer - this is AB ! ]

Diana Princess of Wales was an exception
as she was in everything else hur hur hur
Yes Twix. Queen Mary was the mother of the last Prince George.
Another best answer gripe - crikey they're out today lol.

Quiz questions should have one clear and concise answer not a few options that may 'do' at a push.
Your answer was clearly incorrect, as I and PP have pointed out.
well its a tought one innit ?

Viscount Castlereagh ( castle-ray for those ABers who dont know he cut his own throat in 1822 as Lord Londonderry ) as Prime Minister
even tho he had become er Lord Londonderry ( before death that is )
and was referred to as the time as Londonderry

and is Disraeli referred to as Beaconsfield after his ennoblement nowadays. He was at the time as he had to leave the commons and go to the Lords

oh and hahaha I must tell you
Lord Edward Cecil was an mousey author of Leisure of an Egyptian Official and when the Boer war broke out there was no money to pay the British Army ( hey but I am telling you the plaaaart !). So ma good lord went down to the Cairo branch of Barings and personally wrote out a personal cheque for one million pounds [ one hundred million smackers now ]

and Lord Baring said " My Lord how do I know that this cheque will be honoured by the British govt ? "

and Lord Edouard replied ( for it was he ) " because my father is prime minister "

Lord Saisbury didnt go around saying - "of course I am really Robert Gascoyne Cecil"

...and Arthur Balfour said, 'Bob's my uncle!'
I realise that - Wiki has it wrong, my fault for being daft enough to trust it.

What makes me laugh is how folk get fluffed up about Best Answers which mean nothing in the grand scheme.
That brings back memories, PP. The very first essay I had to write at university 46 years ago was entitled, 'What services did Castlereagh render to Britain?'

My tutor was not impressed when I replied, 'He slit his throat'.
OP: Am I being pedantic?
I have it on authority that he answer is yes and no.
... or would you prefer to err with her...
I think that I may be sick in my own mouth.
'tis a turrible thing when folk get caught out being totes right on then called on it resulting in a 'oh well, as a salt of the earth type, it was somebody else that got it all wrong, nowt to do with me boss.'
