Call me cynical (you will) but how much is Astral paying her to say this? Do you believe it? But just watch it fly off the shelves now ....

Sorry Chill, had it ready and forgot to use it ....
Good for her. Seems frank, open, honest and sensible to me. At the end of the day, yer pays yer money yer takes yer choice! I'd imagine a lot of men would applaud her stance and wish their partners were as frugal. I shake my head in bewilderment whrn I hear female colleagues exchanging stories of how they've paid £40 for an eyeliner pencil.
IMO it's most likely a simple explanation which takes the heat off of how she does well. The true answer might be being lucky with her genes or possibly something a little more surgical/medical.
Dyes her own hair at home................I very much doubt it, just as I doubt the other "celebrities" who allegedly colour their hair at home.
I use Astral and oftentimes hubby uses it too!!! It is a good cream.
Actually I believe all she says. Astral she isn't allergic to plus no-one has ever really proved expensive creams work better anyway. She's had the same hair colour for years so no reason to think she doesn't do it at home, I've done mine at home for ages, can't be bothered going to the hairdresser every month and everybody raves about Elnett hairspray. At the end of the day she's just been very lucky with her genes IMO.
I have never touched face cream, moisturiser, or any cosmetic product in my entire life. At 66 I get told I look 20 years younger, but then I'm a man!
Is male skin that different ? or would the ladies look just as good if cosmetics had never been invented.
I shave every day sometimes twice but use supermarket own brand 'value' razors a pack of 10 for £2.50 lasts a year. No shaving foam just ordinary soap. So my total spend on 'cosmetics' is under £3.50 a year ! Anyone beat that. Oh and for shampoo I use supermarket 'value' washing up liquid 25p a bottle and lasts months. Still have a full head of hair with no bald / thin spots !

Thats probably why you have to shave twice a day Eddie!
Quite genuinely, I can't see /feel any difference between the 'value' ones and the expensive ones except of course the price. Why pay up to £15 of a pack of disposable razors when the £2 ones are just as good?
Also women's razors, which are the same except for the colour, are over twice the price!
I agree with you, Prudie.
She has been wearing Astral for many years this is certainly not the first time she has said this.
Personally, I do not believe in these expensive creams. Just use one (not animal tested) not expensive.
Think a lot of it is in your genes and diet.
but how much is Astral paying her to say this?
oodles darling oodles

Do you believe it?
every word if it comes from edina's mouth dahling
I remember many years ago her saying the same thing, so probably genuine.
eddie
this is an example of luxury pricing
this bucks the normal supply and demand curve....

for luggs uries - double the price and you double the sales

so do we want to market a product that obeys luxury pricing ?
yes we do !!!!!
Eddie...there is a massive difference in razors. Long gone are the days we cut our legs shaving.

I have a razor sharpener, it sharpens and cleans so we can share a razor if need be. Even after a few months of use it's still far superior to cheap ones...
I believe it, I remember her saying this many times over the years too.

You are very very lucky!

I have seriously sensitive skin and it has taken years to find the right blade / razor / lather combination that doesn't cut me to pieces. I can only shave every two days, and I have to be very very careful and take my time.

I do got to a local Muslim barber who does a face massage, three minutes lather, cut-throat shave, cream, aftershave, and another massage, for £4, so that takes the chore out of things on a Friday.

I envy anyone who can use those disposable jam-spreaders and standard soap - never going to be me though!
