Hi, is anyone else watching this?

I'm really enjoying it so far.

It's a subtitled French thriller about a missing teenager on BBC Four if anyone is interested, four episodes in so far and available on catch up.

The younger sister is the only honest person there.

My French is very rusty and I struggle to understand quite a bit without the subtitles. Found it easier to understand watching The Returned and Witnesses.

It seems everyone has secrets!

I keep meaning to watch The Tunnel too if anyone has seen that, I've heard it's meant to be good.

Only two weeks left, as eight episodes in total I think, though good to have two episodes at a time to watch.

Yes to your question. It is very good. The Tunnel ended last Tuesday (second series) absolutely brilliant-waiting for the DVD release. I have no languages at all (unfortunately) but love all sub titled drama on BBC4

I used to study languages but French was always my favourite though loved Italian too but only studied that for a year. My others are much more rusty.

I will have to give The Tunnel a go.

Watched it all so far and i've really enjoyed it. But the father running around like a headless chicken was beginning to bore me a bit in the last episode.

I know its petty but the title 'Disparue' doesn't translate to 'The disapearance' according to google.
This makes it really difficult for me to watch ;o)

I've just googled it and according to 'dicios', disparu can be translated as; departed, disappeared, extinct, missing and vanished. It'll do for me:-)

Ken, here's a shock for you. When you listen to what they are saying it is not the same as the subtitles either.
Destroys the program for me :o)
