I heard that Dermot O'Leary is being asked to return to x factor (thank goodness) to replace the shouty Flack person and the out of depth but otherwise talented Olly Murrs. Any comments?

TV in the UK is rapidly becoming as cut-throat as its American counterpart. It's clear that Ms Flack and Mr Murs didn't have what it takes - they audience hasn't taken to them, and the logical thing to do is to go with what works - which is Mr O'Leary. Can't comment on this last series, I didn't watch it because it is formulaic and no longer entertaining, I feel. Will...

Really, I did not mind her. Bit simpering and looking at Olly with batted eyes.
Much better choice
No idea who the Flack one is but Mr O'Leary does faux sincerity to degree level and young Murrs is just a manufactured smile for young girls to (ahem) fantasise about.
Would it not be better to axe the factor and put summit decent on ?
Well said weecalf, well said, utter drivel.
What, like The Voice?
There are plenty of channels for everything.
Olly was out of his depth

Will be interesting to see what happens, but it won't tempt me back - I dread the return of Louis Walsh - a man with the rare gift of being able to reach the end of a sentence, and have you already forget what the beginning of it was.
He said he'd never go back.
Andy don't worry, all Louis ever said was either 'you deserve to be on that stage' or 'you remind me of a young....'
Good riddance to the over- gushy Flack
Let's hope he sticks to his word! His false sincerity and arm crossing really annoy me.
Just moved from that clip to the 'worst auditions' clip - and the first one was absolutely stunning!

A guy singing Hallelujah and referring to it as 'Alexandra Burke's Hallelujah' - seriously????
