I've just been enjoying this edition of the 'Natural World' strand, on BBC iPlayer and can thoroughly recommend it.

However, it was originally broadcast on 16/07 and is only available until this coming Saturday (15/08), so don't delay.

If you want to see footage of Great Crested Grebes doing things *other than* the dance routine, this is the programme for you. (Other species are also featured but the GCGs steal the show).

Agreed - I watched it last month and thoroughly enjoyed it. The starling murmurations are always impressive and who can resist a red squirrel ??

I wasn't aware that the cause of Corncrake decline was as simple as modern farming practices. Poor old chap, croaking his heart out, all night. I still don't have them on my life list yet. How much does a passport cost? (lol)
