this prog has well outlived itself. I agree about the rape scene. Most annoying i find the mixing on storylines of the love lives of the younger members ridiculous for adult tv. no-one seems to have any fun at all. heavily relies on stories about murder, drugs, alcoholism, depression. If people want to watch this drudgery put it on later!

I stopped watching EE years ago because of the unremitting misery.

Only in soapland could such a large bunch of dreadful people congregate in such a small area and remain in situ, barking at each other and taking it in turns to work in all the business premises.

That's why Dallas singuarly failed to take off in Japan - the Japanese audiences couldn't understand why grown men still lived with their mother, and discussed business with the women.
