I agree. Its a holiday that I wanted to try when I was younger in the 70's
but none of my friends were keen. Not sure whether I could manage anything that long however !

Oh no, i missed this and would love to have seen it after reading about prunella's early stages of Alzheimer's, and how the gentle canal life keeps her so well. Off to look for repeat showings.

...I am fascinated by this programme I love it. she's very sprightly for an 80+yr old leaping up and down the locks.

I am really enjoying this as well.
We will not be able to holiday on a narrow boat again for a while as our elderly dog has had a stroke but I now have ideas for the future.
Not sure about the flight of locks on the K&A though!

I agree, a lovely programme. I don't usually enjoy documentaries with celebrity presenters, but this is different; they love what they're doing, and are very knowledgeable. Everything sensitively treated, and gorgeous photography.
