Haven't yet seen it. I do like Alan Davies though so I sometimes watch it just for THAT reason.
He's very GRABBABLE isn't he?

I didn't think that the lottery numbers behind many layers of wallpaper was quite explained, at least it wasn't for me.

The young/old magician was decorating whan he answered the phone and wrote 2 phone numbers on the bare wall. All numbers of a future Lottto!

I have always loved Jonathan Creek, he has always been a bit geeky with his duffle coat and tennis shoes, and platonic friendships.

I missed the first of the new trilogy - is there an explanation why he is not working with Adam anymore, and why he has a smart London office, and where he scored a godess for a wife?

Creek's duffle coat in the 1st series was Davies's own coat and one reason he got the job.
I seem to remember when he married Polly an executive job was offered by, I think, his father in law.

Thanks Jomlett - that explains the job, but is there no explanation for where he binned off Sheridan Smith, Adamn, and his windmill, and hooked up with the divine Sarah Alexander?

Well Creek is moving with the times but it might not last. He worked with Adam but only had contempt for him. I can see him moving back to that windmill if the delightful Polly should set him free.
