Actually I quite liked the brown curly one, thought it suited her.

The blonde one was slightly better but it needed a bit of tweaking...I thought the brown one was terrible, way too full.
Wigs need to be styled for the individual but it's a specialised skill, some hair salons offer the service. Poor little Sarah's wig was awful.
Are free wigs still available on the NHS for cancer patients?

For Pips - my friend is coming through cancer - bought a wig - nice one too - but too hot for this weather - if going out may wear a light scarf.

Yes they are still available but if you want a really nice one you can pay the extra, that's what I was going to do but when I got home I felt so ill I didn't go out so wasn't bothered as only family saw me.
Did take over a year to grow back tho.

Thanks Mojo, I'm glad you've got a good one. I had a not so good one years ago, not a lot of choice at the time time and I was too ill to go and buy a better one. It's a bit draughty with with no hair in the winter!

Quiinie - much as I would like to believe that and to say it to cancer sufferers, I really don't think bald people look beautiful. Brenda's bald head actually makes me shudder - but there again it's just a story in a soap, whereas lots of poor people in real life just have no choice.
