I know it was a couple of weeks ago now but was watching the Celeb version of Tipping Point where Stacey Solomon appeared, trying to raise money for her chosen charity.

When the gamble came to risk the money she said she would go for it but if she lost the money she would make the money up herself.

I thought that was so nice & refreshing, many times you see these so called 'stars' losing all the charity cash as saying 'Oh never mind' when you really think 'Why dont you give the charity some of YOUR millions'

Anyone agree?

Yes I watched that show Stacy wasn't as dispsy as she is usually portrayed, but then they can afford to give the money otherwise they wouldn't donate the lost amount. Watched a recent episode where Rav Wilding won £7000 and was happy with that amount without gambling.

yes I really like her. Wish other celebs had the same sentiments.
Didn't see it so what happened?? Did she have to make up the money herself?

So you don't think it's fixed then.

Stacey is okay apart from her sharp intakes of breath.

Fair play to her. I'd like to have seen that.
She could afford to headwreck. It's not long since she won heaps of money on the jungle game. Keeps her in the spotlight of a good guy. What's 5K to someone like her.

George Michael did something similar on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire a good few years back.
Going for the 32,000 question he said he would match it if they got the question wrong - but they got the question right anyway. It was a nice gesture from him.

Watch the link from 2:55 onwards.

Fanriffic, I was impressed they got the horse racing question right, but going for French Beret over Scotch Bonnet for a name of a Chilli for £64k, shocking
You can't know what these people do when the cameras aren't rolling. I'm sure some of them give much more than what's won on the program as a matter of course but never mention it.

They go on the show to publicise the charity as much as anything.
