everyone is talking about the end of the world, and atomic war and asteroid from outer space these are the thoughts of the world. Who or what will be destroyed at the end of th world

@Locusts -Your premise is false. Everyone is not talking about the end of the world. In fact, I think the fear of the ending of humanity through some cataclysm is probably at its lowest for some time.
And your question then becomes a bit woolly.What, precisely are you asking? Is it possible for the end of the world to occur? Yes, I suppose, and a large asteroid impact would be the most likely cause. I really think nuclear armageddon is increasingly unlikely.

And some people have the intellectual level to see that the Bible is nothing more than a silly story believed by the gullible and the helpless that desperately need a crutch to lean on, and as for the JW's all I will say is "Hook, Line and sinker"

If you say so, but I think you find it does not say end of world, but does say, the Bible has “good news” for us. (Matthew 24:14) It gives us God’s unfailing word that our earth will never come to an end!
First of all before God can provide a righteous humans with a secure and prosperous home, he will have to “bring to ruin those ruining the earth.” (Revelation 11:18) However, because he loves humans, Jehovah “does not desire any to be destroyed”, so Jehovah is having the message about his Kingdom preached worldwide. All who respond favourably to God’s warning and bring their life into harmony with his righteous principles will be granted salvation and enjoy everlasting life on a paradise earth.
As regards time, man’s time outside the Bible’s timetable, as set by historians are unreliable and so is yours. (2 Peter 3:9)

I do not always think you are right . but like to ponder over your thoughts and try to analyze the way you are thinking ,and Bible vs. and your thoughts. yes as a fellow Christian I do believe in god s word ,.And there are so many skeptics or or nonbelievers in the world today it reminds me of the days of the flood . They took no noted of the calamity . 1. You claim the bible as being spiritual authority, and claim that humans and sceptics pay too much attention to the temporal, empirical world around us. Unyet you then blather on about "humanity taking no notice of the calamity", in reference to the flood. You cannot have it both ways. Either its a spiritual, interpretative guide or an authorative literal record.
There is little proof of a global flood, as described in the bible. Lots of evidence to suggest that many cultures, prior to the bible, experienced severe local flooding, but nothing to suggest it was global- Its a narrative without foundation.
No evidence to support the end days narrative either - JWs have asserted we are entering the end times on several occasions over the decades, and have been proved wrong each time. We had Mr. Camping predicting the apocalypse just last year and again it was shown to be incorrect. We had he conspiracy enthusiasts predicting global cataclysm this December which came to nothing.
These are not the end times. Indeed, things are generally getting better for humanity as a whole, with better longevity and reduced child mortality figures.
The bible is not an authority for anything. Its a mish- mash of myth and legend, heavily edited by political authorities. It might contain some trivial folk wisdom, and some of the stories can be full of action, but thats about it.

Is it any wonder why the human race is such a sorry mess when so many pin their hopes on a non-existent entity to save them from their denial of that which defines us as a species and is our sole means of survival, reason, apart from which, asteroid or no asteroid, we have condemned and consigned ourselves likewise to non-existence?

But Revelation 11 v 18 says "But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”

Of course creation took considerably longer than 7000 years. We know that! There is no actual time period mentioned in the Genesis account. If man is reckoned to have been on the earth over 6000 years, then it is obvious the earth, animals, galaxies etc etc have been around for a very much longer time.
