Downton should have stopped after one series. Series 2 was absurd. Series 3 is already dull. What do you think?

F*** me, nearly missed it. Thank God for ITV + 1.
I didn't watch Series 1 or the Xmas special so I'm still trying to remember what's what.
I am enjoying it
I loved it................
I enjoyed it and will be watching it all. Sad though I am, I timed the adverts on my phone and there was 20 minutes of them.
Absolutely loved it but next week we said we would record it and fast forward throught the commercials as it did get a bit ridiculous but its the same with everything on commercial channels at the moment.
I just used the ad breaks to pour more gin so didn't really notice them..........
Why are they desperate for money? isn't shirley McClaine supposed to be an american millionaress?
you've got to admire Maggie and Shirley surely, they're brilliant
I love it but agree with taping it next wk and fast forwarding to escape ads.
Downton Drabby indeed. I slept through most of it, but watched the beginning and the end and didn't seemed to have missed much in the middle. Its well acted but that cannot make up for a candyfloss story and script.
I enjoyed it. I think there will be a twist with Mr. Bates - I think he did kill his first wife. Poor Anna {:o(
It gets less and less historically likely as the it goes on but it's tolerable in comparison to things like Big Brother and the jungle thing.
Matthew Wright refers to it as "Downright Shabby"! He! He! I am watching it again but it is rather overacted in parts especially Maggie Smith. She seems to forget that she is not on the stage of a Theatrical play. It is watchable but not brilliant.
Maggie Smith is the best one in it! I was hoping there would be some good banter with her and Shirley McClaine but I don't see any chemistry (not sure if that's the right word) between them up to now.
Wash your mouth out! The only reason most people watch it is for the delicious over-acting of the great Dame Maggie.
I like great actors and Dame Maggie is one of them but she does OVER ACT as if she were on the stage platying to a slightly dim audience. So there!!
She is on the telly, playing to a slightly dim audience, so there!
