Hi folks,

I was wondering if anyone knows the name of the band that were featured on Inspector George Gently tonight?

They sang Matty Groves, an old folk song.

Thanking you in advance.

Not having seen it yet I'd guess Fairport Convention as they'd be contemporaneous with the time period.
I believe the lovely singing was by Ebony Buckle. I can't find out much about her or the band. I thought she was great and would like to here more of her singing. Hope this is helpful.

It was Ebony Buckle, she did the Truvia advert.

Band is The Rash from Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Singer as below!
It could be Fairport Convention - singer Sandy Denny - her song "Who know where the time goes" was played in the next episode. Perhaps she has a fan on the show.
