Copying stored tv programmes off a sky+ box.

Is it possible to transfer stored programmes on a sky+ box to a portable hard-drive etc ? I have some programmes that I would like to keep, but would also like to free up some space on my sky+ box!

No you cant put it on external hard drive, it is encrypted.

But if you have a DVD recorder connected to your TV/Sky box you can record a program on to DVD and keep that.

Then delete it from Sky box.
