The BBC are currently repeating the first series of "Death in Paradise", but they don't seem to have re-broadcast episode 1. Anyone know why?

wasn't it on last week?
We saw the last 2 weeks and thought we had just missed the first one, really like it though. Very much a Sunday evening relaxed kinda programme!

usually it's because of something thats going on in the country at the time - ie kidnapping if its a kidnapping storyline
The first one was the first one if you see what I mean - from what I remember anyway .... the one with the dead bride ..?
Apologies You're right .... the first episode was the panic room one:

And for those of you who asked for a second series - this is from Wikipedia:

Series 2

A second series, consisting of eight 60-minute episodes, was commissioned officially by the BBC Head of Drama Commissioning Ben Stephenson on 11 January 2012. It is set to air in late 2012 or early 2013.

Seems a bit of a mystery why episode one wasn't repeated. The theme doesn't seem to be the reason, unless I'm missing something. I enjoyed the series very much (how about that lizard!?), and I'm looking forward to series 2. Anyway, thanks for your inputs.
