There is a programme on tonight with regards to a little girl that was born without a face.  She is missing up to 40% of her bones in her face.  I know it's probably going to be a heart warming film (programme) about how she is a survivor and stuff but you have to wonderif she was your daughter, would you want her to be fed through the stomach?....I'll prob feel different after the programme but right now I don't think I would.  Very distressing for the poor family and little girl.

Two questions, butter1, do you have children and what exactly would be your solution?  We have been involved with some handicapped children and find they are often the most loving and gentle little souls you could hope to find.  Because of that, and the fact that need caring for so desperately, they are extremely easy to love in return...

I wasn't doubting that handicapped children are not loving and gentle.  My brother is handicap so I do know they are and how generous they are, so please do not judge me.  I'm not a doctor so I'm unable to comment on what solution there would be....all I was saying how upsetting and distressing it must be for the people involved.

Before I get anymore responses like Clanad's - I didn't mean to offend anyone....  I'm am simply expressing my opinion about how upsetting it must be, that is all.

I think andy hughes has said it all.
Would just like to post a link to a website about another child who suffered with TCS, his name was Benjamin and the son of one of my closest friends, he was a joy and no different to any other child apart from his facial features.

Oh how sad Jigglypuff...and what a lovely website.  After watching the programme last night (and through being tearful all the way) I just wanted to give that little girl a big hug!  I do agree with you andy hughes, if she was my daughter I would do anything to help her.  Very sad documentary. :-(
