Loved it, brilliantly acted. And Emma Rigby has now proved that she is a brilliant actress. Hope to see more of her - I expect we will.
Midwife and Prisoners Wives have been worth having a TV for. Good old BBC!!

I thought it was an excellent series.

Plaudits around for all of the actors. And it made a change to see the realities of prison both for the inmates and their families.

Although, it occured to me of the 4 main female characters, there were 3 wives and a mother.......not such a punchy title, though, I suppose..?

I was on the edge of my seat as he chased her round that market .
The names I was calling him don't bear repeating :)
I think I was tearful watching each episode .Some of it was heartbreaking .
Excellent performances from all the cast .I hope they do a second series .
