Today my husband paid £39.99 for Sony wireless headphones from Argos.
The transmitter works for about 15 minutes, then bleeps and dies on him!
He`s checked batteries,, sockets, plugs.etc.
I think it`s faulty but he thinks it`s something he`s not doing.?
Please can anyone help?

You didn't mention the model number, so I'm guessing MDR-RF810RK

Did he charge the headphone battery for 16 Hours before use (as recommended in the instructions)?

Yes, that`s the model,no, he`s not using the original battery as it wont fit my charger, but he`s using a dry battery which the book says is ok.

The original battery can be charged by putting it in the headphones and connecting them with the supplied lead to the charger. (As it explains in the instructions)
