Not sure whether to put this in here or in Arts & Lit. but as it was a tv programme I'll put it in here.

There was a painter who used to teach how to paint on tv back in the 70's (I think it was the 70's anyway). Don't know what channel it was on but it was on during the day. I do remember that the painter was a lady and she would use a canvas with squares on it and I'm sure she used a kind of a pallette knife rather than a brush. I know this is a very vague description but I was about 6 or 7 at the time.

Does anyone have a clue what I'm on about? I'm trying to google it but all I get is an American painter called Bob Ross!
