Absolutely. The final series ended so perfectly too. Still, talented as everyone involved with Blackadder was none of them are above whoring themselves to the likes of Queen musicals, Shreddies adverts and, erm, Mr Bean the Movie. Frightening.

I could cry with sorrow. It was all so perfect - the funniest show ever that had one of the most talked about endings ever. Did anyone ever see the 'special' that was, I think, commissioned for the Dome and released by Sky on VHS and DVD? It had all the same people doing all the same characters, written by the same writers and it was pitiful. The 'extras' have an interview with Richard Curtis in which he says something along the lines of 'it was easy to get back to that style of writing'. No it wasn't, Curtis.
