I've heard it in several places here is an example in the Top Gear budget super car challenge. It's at about 6 minutes in as they enter Marlborough.

It's from one of the trio of Spaghetti Westerns of Sergio Leone.

It's not 'The Good The Bad And The Ugly', it may be 'A Fistful Of Dollars', or 'For A Few Dollars More' - my memory is not that good on this, but you are in the right area if you pursue these themes - it's one of them.
I don't think HPD had a theme - not as I recall.

I searched those but I'm not sure it's a specific film theme it's more of a stock western theme that you hear when a confrontation is eminent.
