Digital TV problem

I have 2 FREEVIEW TV's at home. Unfortunately, there are a number of very tall trees which are inbetween my house and the transitter. When the trees move in the wind, I lose reception and suffer drop out, pixilation, etc. My questions are, when my area goes fully digital in the summer, do they upgrade the signal from the transmitter to improve the reception or will I lose TV signal altogether? If it's the latter, is there anything I can do to improve the signal?

When the switchover takes place the power will be increased for the digital transmissions.

If it will help or not is anyone's guess, that's going to be a suck it and see. a signal booster may help, but again it's a case of try it and see.
P.S. are you on the sudbury transmitter by any chance :)
Hang on a sec, I'll go ask my eldest brother for his chainsaw.
That'll fix the problem!!!! Heh,heh,heh.............. xD

Although as Chuck said, I would get a signal booster. It may just improve the signal reception.
Having said that, I have a FREEVIEW Philips Box on the top of my Video Combi TV in my bedroom, which doesn't run from the main aerial in our loft.
I use an amplified ONE FOR ALL portable aerial (which has a control dial with up to 45dB) and 3x Noise Filter, which I got inside my wardrobe. It's the only place to put it.

Strangely enough with all those great Specs on it, I STILL have problems with receiving a good reception BBC1 Wales,BBC2 Wales, BBC3 and BBC4!!!!!
Some days I get a good reception, then most other days, and usually night times the signal is very poor and I just have to watch another channel!! :(
Oddly enough, when I walk towards the TV the signal improves and the picture is perfect again! How weird is that!
I guess I must be an extra signal booster or something!! Maybe I have incredible static around me.
One of the reasons for poor reception in Cymru (especially after dark) is airborne Dragons & because they are in the red shift ( similar to underskirt) difficult to spot, try Googleing Armour Piecing Light Refracting Binoculars.Ron.
