Can't believe I am watching The Killing Fields again as it always makes me cry. Is there a film that upsets you but you can't resist? I love the music in The Killing Fields as well.

Not even Schindlers List welshy, which was based on a true story? That had me sobbing.
The Green Mile. I've seen it about four times and I've always cried, especially when Del gets told there is no Mouseville. :o(
Steel Magnolias....................sob.

Oh no, you've come up with two more. And I've just thought of Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe............ are there enough tissues in the world?
Yup,
'Night In The Life Of An Old And Ailing ABer'

Gets me everytime, right between the ears. The leading actress is pretty pathetic imho, but they didn't spend out for a male lead and lordy knows from whence they got all those extras. The script writer is away with the fairies too. Then later on in the film the music producer pops in to try and alleviate the mood of the night. No flippin credits either, and the hairdresser and wardrobe mistress should have been shot on sight.
"sophie school - the final days" recomended to everyone, really touching.... specially the moments before gillotine.
