my husband is going back to work tomorrow after a couple of weeks off, and i will be off for some time yet. I am worried that i will vegitate at home so am writing myself a list of things to do in the first week or so, so that the days aren't so long. I don't really want "surf the internet" to be one of the things!
So, help me out please :) give me some suggestions - don't mind what they are. Have started my list with some boring things like do the shredding but if they are less boring, that's ok too. most of my friends are at work or have babies, so meeting up with them isn't practical
So suggestions pleeeese :) What would you do if you had a long time off work - how would you fill your day?

sorry bednobs :o

you could draw up your xmas list ?
I love just going and sitting outside a cafe with a coffee and watching the world go by, maybe take some magazines or books or do some puzzles like crosswords.

You could find something like a local wildfowl park and go and sit and feed the birds.

Check the cinema listings and go see some films or theatre matinees.

Drive somewhere you have never been before, maybe somewhere you can see the sights by driving around so as to lessen the walking.
some good suggestions there jenna, I would definately take advantage of the cinema when its quiet during the week

Have a cooking day and try new recipes. You could make batches and freeze your own ready meals.
