A statue of Michael Jackson has been removed from the National Football Museum in Manchester. Its removal comes as sexual abuse allegations against the singer are detailed in a new documentary film. The National Football Museum (NFM) said the statue had been taken off display as part of "ongoing plans" to "better represent" football's stories.

I hadn't realised he was such a significant part of football history. I note that the museum wants "to better represent" football stories. How do they plan to do that? With a statue of a footballer, maybe?

Poor old MJ getting shunted around because neither Harrods nor Fulham wanted him reminds me of the work of public art currently being touted for Grantham because nobody else wants the late Margaret Thatcher statue due to security concerns.

I wonder how long before we stop doing statues of people, living or dead, to avoid these controversies?

James Safechuck and Wade Robson are proven liars. They testified in court, under oath, that no abuse had happened. They now say that they were abused. Which is correct? That proves they are lying.

Safechuck and Robson weren't the only ones to testify in court that no abuse had happened. Macaulay Culkin testified to that effect. He was an adult when he testified, as were others, who said that when they went to bed, there were many people in the room, some sleeping on the floor. MJ was acquitted because he was proven to be innocent. people ask for justice and when the verdict is delivered, they suddenly don't like it because it's not the verdict they wanted.
