Morning, not sure if this is the right forum but wasnt to sure where to place it, what im asking is, if anyone knows of where i can obtain medical history of a deseased person, what is it is that my daughter has been diagnosed with a rare disease and it has been passed from my husband who is of Mediterranean blood, we now need to trace his mother and father who have now both passed on, to see if they had the same disease, unfortunalty my husband never knew his father, and his mother died when he was just 2, so we know nothing of either of them, can anyone please help us, the records would be from London as they both came from Cyprus to live there many years ago. Any help very much appreciated. Thank you

You might have problems but your Gp / hospital doctors can request a summary from the hospital they were treated in if you know which one it was... trouble is a lot of hospitals in london have closed/reorganised with some departments going to one new site and others elsewhere so unless it was one of the big ones like St Thomas's Guys or Barts etc it will take a lot of detective work

As it is a blood disorder start by googling Haematology, hospitals, london and the area where they lived you should cut the list down to one or two possible targets...
