my ex boyfriends parents went to court to get visitation rights to see my kids (their grandkids) and won. they said they didnt get to see the kids which is untrue as i took the kids to see them when i could, surly cause trhey lied in court about this it should go back to court? i was unable to go as it was to far away an im 8mths pregnant, i just dont think its fair that my kids should have to be away from me 2 days a week from 10am-4pm . also they will be going to thier house were my ex also lives an he is not allowed near the kids as he was violent towards my daughter an i in which at court case is still ongoing, im not happy about this whole situation at all an would be realy greatful for any advice asap as the first visit is next tuesday an i realy dont want my kids going, they have never been anywere before without me or thier other nanna an its gonna break my heart. why would they want to do this when they knew they got to see the kids anyway but on my terms which in my opinion is how it should be as im thier mum. also could anyone tell me what would happen if i just refused to let the kids go? could i be prosacuted? sorry this is so long but i thought it best to try an explain as much as i could so people can understand my situation.

Hi astro Sounds like a terrible situation.

If you dont let them go you will be in violation of the order - perhaps some legal eagle will know the consequences.

Sounds like you need to see a solicitor on Monday. Were you not represented at the original judgement? When you say the ex is not allowed near the kids........is that a court judgement? If he is living there that sounds like a good enough reason not to let them go - you need some specialist advice and quick.

What about offering to host a visit for the grandparents on Tuesday, so they come to your home?
