What is a credit card billing address? I am interested in doing a long distance course over the Internet and will be paying by credit card. In the enroll section, they ask me for my address, which is where I live and where I want them to send the literature to. However, they do ask me for a credit card billing address aswell. I opened my account about 6 months ago and while doing so, I was still living with my mother, so I gave them her address. Natrally, all that comes from the bank or that has been coming from the bank, i.e. statements, etc. comes to her address (as haven't had the time to change addresses). My bills however, are paid through the bank itself and never recieve any bills to my mother's address. Moreover, my credit card was delivered to her address. Does that mean the my credit card billing address is infact my mother's address?

Yes!
You should change your address with your bank though!
Kathyan is correct - they use the address that your credit card is registered with regardless of whether you get a bill or live there. It is best to change your address, it could cause you problems.
a credit card billing address is where the people you pay by card will send your bill/receipt which will go to your home address or to the address of the person who owns the credit card
Is your course entitled "how to ask ridiculous questions"? lol
