My partner's father died recently and he had a house (with no debt) in joint names with his second wife. his will says that all property (it doesnt specifically say whether this is just personal property ) is to be distributed equally between 3 people - the wife, my partner and her sister. does the house default directly to the wife as the other owner of it and so get excluded from the property that gets distributed equally or would it be included?
