Do you mean how long does it take to get to court, or how long do the court proceedings last?

Impossible to answer without some details.

A fraud trial has taken months in court, for example.

Sorry Ethel, I meant how long does it take to get to court.
Im staring proceedings against an ex partner. Its a property matter he's trying to put a caution on property thru land registry and he keeps delaying matters and getting extensions - basically cos he does not have a leg to stand on - so i am going to take it to court. He is actually acusing me of forging letter with his signature on and keeps threatening to get a handwriting expert to analyse it, I keep saying i dont have a problem with him doing this, but he never does it. Obviously cos he knows hes signed it.
