I am planning to emigrate to Australia with my partner of 15years because i have a daughter from a previous relationship who is now 16 i am being told under Australian law i need the biological fathers consent to take my daughter with me. She has not seen him for 14yrs and he has never contributed towards her upbringing i need advice on what i can do. Can i gain a court order granting me Parental Responsibility which i already have under UK law without the fathers consent?
