My partner has a police caution but we would like to apply for residency to New Zealand. Does anyone have experience of doing this? You need to provide a police certificate to prove that you are of good character, would this be a problem?

You will need to provide a police certificate for your residency application. However, immigration here are more concerned about people who have been to prison or who have commited a serious offence including drugs etc. He will probably be ok with a caution, but he would have to explain the circumstances to them.
