up until the 27th of may i was working full time for a courier company doing long-distance deliveries, i was sometimes setting off at 3am and not returning till mayybe 9 or 10pm the same day, but in may i was in a car crash and broke my arm, forcing me to go on SSP, during the time i have been off work, my partner gave birth to our 2nd daughter, now I'm near ready to return to work, I would like to to vary my 48hour a week contract, and only work the 48 hours spread over 5 days, which i have estimated to be 1 10hr day, and 4 9 and a half hour days. the law says because i have 2 daughters under the age of 6 I am entitled to apply for flexi-hours, are my employers able to say no to my request? please help
