Ccj
I had to take a customer to court for non-payment and started the process at the beginning of April. He had until 22 April to pay-up. On receiving the notice of my claim he was incandescent. But he agreed that he owed me the money and said that he would pay, including my filing costs.
Then.......silence.
He finally contacted me to ask me to stop the process and he would pay. I told him that he needed to pay and then I would stop the process.
Once again.......silence.
At the end of last week, I asked the court to issue the CCJ.
He paid me yesterday with an instruction (lol) to remove the CCJ from his record.
So, having looked on the website I can't see a link whereby I can contact the court to confirm that he has paid. Is this something that he has to tell them and ask to be removed?
I've never had one go this far before.
Thank you.

The guy just gave him the runaround trying to avoid paying, kept on burgering off to sea etc. Anyway my mate found out who his commanding officer was and went to see him to show him then bill that was outstanding. Needless to say the officer paid up pretty promptly after that. It's sad but some people just seem to think they can refuse to pay even if they can pay.
