I have applied for two Master's programmes inBergamo, Italy and I have been accepted by both of them. The two programmes are Planning and Management of Tourism, and the second program is Intercultural Studies on Literature and Culture. The last one is an extention of what I have already studied before. I do have a Master's in Education and I have been teaching foreign languages for 7 years so far, so I do have some experience on this department. As for the other peogramme, Plannning and Management of Tourism, I want to say that I do come from a town which is a UNESCO world heritage site, so I know a lot of about tourism strategies and hospitality but I have not been personaly involved.

My intentions are to move and have a life in Bergamo, Italy, so my question is ' Which of these two programmes would better help me towards fullfilling my intentions? Which programme will guarantee me better chances of employment?
Thank you for your time!

Tourism
The second one would be my choice, although I feel your are far better qualified to judge. Tourism could take a severe hit with the continuing pandemic whereas culture is timeless.

However, as with all studying, it shouldn't only be about employment opportunities anyway. If you're going to be devoting a year or two (or more) to studying something, the last thing you want to do is to choose something that will leave you bored out of your mind. If you do, you'll just be wasting part of your life and you probably won't do particularly well at it anyway. So go for what you think you'd ENJOY most!

BTW: I'm green with envy! Bergamo is a fantastic city!
