Faulty gas fire is a pretty serious health and safety issue
It sounds like the landlord should be responsible for all of those things, but you had better check the terms of the lease. It would be illegal for him to try and terminate your tenancy whilst repairs are outstanding (in any event evictions are currently subject to Covid restrictions). If you get no response then perhaps set him a deadline in writing and if that passes then report him to your local authority housing department as their scope also covers private rentals.

I assume that you are not in arrears with the rent or otherwise in breach of the lease, not that it should make any difference, but could be a contributory factor as to why the landlord is being uncommunicative. Remember as well that the landlord may well be in Covid-related hardship as well.
ermI think you should think of getting advice on this one citizens advice
yeah try sending the bill
yo should have warned him first
and said you were gonna deduct from rent
gence the need for advice

there is the little matter of the gas safety cert
and I am sure this lack means it is easy to sue in a court - which I wd actually

try the landlord first
Also when u move out he may well ask where HIS gas fire, cooker hood and garage doors are!
