I wondered if anyone can help. If when someone dies and their estate of more than £10000 is all left to the executor and the solicitor says no probate is required, does this mean the estate is worth less than £10000?

The solicitor definitely said no probate was required, but I have received a form which, in the event of no probate, I have to sign that that the estate was less than £10000 and I wondered if in the circumstances this was so. I will contact her next week and ask as you advise.
