I am awaiting a court order following me divorcing my now ex wife. She does not want the house marketed until we physically receive the court order though we know and agree the content. Am I wrong in stating the house can be marketed and by some miracle even sold, subject to contract, ahead of the order? No money will be split from the profits until the order has been received by the conveyancing solicitor. She has dragged the house sale out long enough (no children etc).

who is the registered house owner?

Shared ownership. She is happy to sell but seems to always to keep finding a reason to hold off. The court says the house must sell so why keep waiting? Whist it may be just another couple of weeks it just delays the inevitable.
so she is saying one thing and doing another? have you discussed that with her?
Do you have a solicitor representing you?

The matter has gone through the courts. The judge has made his judgement and court order was raised. Due to an error within it the order is being re-written but still not been received. The order states the house must be sold. An agreed estate agent is lined up, house value agreed but she wont place the house on the market until she physically has the order.
Seems your ex is just trying to make life difficult for you for whatever reason, or perhaps because initial order had errors she may just want to make sure revised order is correct, but either way cannot understand why she will not allow house to be marketed.
