Enter further question details here...assault on a child are three separate assaults on a child aged four a summary offence, ie assault has a six-month time limit on reporting, is assault on a child the same?

All summary offences (with one or two exceptions which do not apply here) have a time limit of six months for a prosecution to begin. Note this is not a limit on "reporting" as you suggest. The time limit relates to the commencement of court proceedings.

erm I am not sure if this is anout timed-out offences

if a vulnerable child is involved and you dont know what to do then kick off at the citizens advice bureau -
wondering about how long it takes to prosecute a crime isnt the really important thing if a child is being knocked about ....

remember the childs interests are paramount
