Could anyone advise me on my private pension please.
Is the pension i accumulated before I was married considered in a financial split? I stoped paying into my private pension about 5 years before I even met my now ex wife.we were together less then 2 years.could she now claim my pension if anything was to happen to me

This is something for the Courts to decide, although financial arrangements entered into before a marriage, are not normally taken into account when a divorce takes place.

This should have been done at the time of divorce and backed up by an order - so on the facts it looks as tho you are in the clear
