My job requires me to have a Disclosure Scotland CRB check done. This was completed at the start of my employment however my employer has since lost all of the details regarding this.

They have told me that I can not work and have to take time unpaid until I complete this.
Are they allowed to send me home unpaid despite this being because of their mistake?

Thanks

Not sure if Scotland DBS is the same as in England but I subscribe to the online service and my employers can simply log in to check mine
If it's the NHS, Yes
I m guessing, that in this day and age, Employers can do pretty well what they like. Lets hope its not too long before you can start earning again.
What does your union say?? That would be my first place to go to for advice.
If you have no access to a union adviser, try the citizens' advice bureau.
