Hi what are other forms of ID apart from a provisional driving licence ?
I am never going to be able to drive due to being visually impaired so I am not able to apply for a provisional licence.

What are other alternatives that are accepted in supermarkets, pubs etc.

Im nearly 30 and still get asked for ID which I havnt got apart from a passport but I dont want to carry that round with me all the time.

It's quite a difficult one, by the look of things. I think your best bet is to get some form of photo ID card like my daughter had when she was a student. I googled and Saintsbury's accepts these and apart from driving licence, not much else.
This should be perfect for your needs, fabemmy.....Costs £15 and you should get it within 3 weeks from applying....you can pay more, if you need it quicker....Tells you how online from link I've sent you.
Hope this helps :-)

CitizenCard is possibly the most widely-accepted form of ID (other than passports and driving licences):
https://www.citizencard.com/

It conforms to the standards set by the Government-backed PASS scheme:

Official? Don't seem to strong on the Gov.UK to be fair
Price has been lowered to only £12 for standard wait time....

Or Too ^^^ strong even!!
God you lucky thing !
can I go out for a drink with you sometime

I would photocopy a page of your passport and use that. - I use my old bugga's bus pass a lot as it is photo ID but that is not much use to you....

30 and looks like 15 - if only
I get sworn at for looking doddery and old
( er I am doddery and old)

Hey I was in PCW yesterday and was handed a small print leaflet so I asked - "can you ring the bit of the script that you are talking about please?"
and mullet scowled at me and said " ya waaaaa?"
I realised that 'ring' has an obscene meaning to young people ..... 30 and looks 15 - if only ....
then I said " there is an old white haired man who is looking after me..." but by that time Mullet had gone back to his lap top and was hammering away at something, and didnt look up.
