Just had a letter of a collection agency saying I owe class 2 contributions. I've been retired for 2 years
The letter does not include my NI or UTR number.
Is this a scam. Are they using collection agencies.

lots of HMRC scams on the go presently especially by phone..if no NINO..most certainly a scam....have never heard of collection agencies being used either...if worried write to HMRC ...good idea to bring this to their attention anyway...
