I recently came across a website that listed the hours in the day when DIY and noisy gardening equipment can be used. I thought I had bookmarked it but I didn't. The site mentioned no noise on Sunday and restricted hours on Saturday. Does anyone know these details.

Some local councils have guidelines about the appropriate hours for noisy activities but they're not a statement of the law. (If you found a website quoting legal restrictions it was likely to have been an Australian one).

Saturday and Sunday are the only times most people get a chance for gardening and DIY. As said there is no law about it, just a case of being reasonable.
