Hope you recover quickly.
If you want legal advice about a possible claim you will need to give a bit more info- eg were you on a bike, what happened, was there any clear negligence?
Where and what was the bump?

Sorry to hear that, hope you're better soon.
Tezestwing - perhaps you could give us more details such as:-

1) How did the accident happen
2) What injuries were sustained
3) What is the prognosis

There may be more questions later.....

Thanks for the response ff I just wanted to know if a person had a case, the person involved was walking to the end of a pedestrian crossing and tripped over the end of a road speed bump that ran to the side of to the crossing when a 90 % turn was executed.
The reason I think the person tripped was because the hump that used to be painted yellow was now rubbed off downback to a black undercoat that merged into the black bitchumen surroundings, thanks again.

Hi Barmaid a foot trip over the end of a speed ramp appox 75mm high possibly 25 mm at contact blending into black road tarmac texture, this point I think should have been more visable and addressed with bright yellow all over, the only dirty yellow visable was near the base of the ramp.
The injuries sustaind were a broken wrist not sure of degrees on trying to break there fall that had to be plastered after Xrays
Not sure untill later surgeon prognosis but maybe later manipulations.
thanks again
Sounds like this is a classic slip and trip. I cannot say if there is any liability here but it would be worth taking some advice. I have seen a case where someone hit a gate on their bike which wasnt painted bright yellow, so who knows.

I would suggest the person involved check their house insurance to see if they have legal expenses cover. If not, do a search round the local area to see if there are any specialists. The chances of no win no fee are slight these days, but there are still some people in the market - although it normally involves a ATE insurance policy (which can be expensive).

Take some advice.
