Hi, I am looking to find out some further information about crime that was recorded in a certain street (I am looking to buy a house here). Does anyone know who I contact to get this information? The local council, if so, under what act to I request the information? Or the local police? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! I have looked on the crime maps website but want to know the details of the crimes shown on it. Thanks!

Hi Candy - even if you do make a foi request, it's probable that the police wont give you any more details
Have you thought about looking in the archives of the local paper?
