I have got 40 years of clean driving and made no insurance claims in that time, therefor max no claims discount. Now with some compannies you can get 9 years max. I went with Aviva last year and on their application form you tick the number of years N.C.D you have the last box says (5 yrs or more ) i ticked that box, changing to another insurance this year ( Buget)
they now say i've only got 5 years, and Aviva will only confirm as much that means Aviva have robbed me of 4 yrs N.C.D. Is ther anything i can do as now Buget say they will increase my premium. Thanks for any help you are able to offer.

Wil the previous insurer confirm that you had 9 years NCB last year and Aviva confirm that you have not claimed this year ?
All motor insurers are robbing b*rstewards but Aviva are the worst of the lot.
In reality you will see little diffrence between 5 years and 9 years NCB.

Thanks for your answer EDDIE. The problem is i have found out that these b******* who i've gone with BUGET look for any way they can to take more money from you than you agreeded, have looked on reviews about them and people are having money taken from there cards for cacelation fees after they themselfs (BUGET) have cancelled new policys because they say like me have stated more N.C.D than they have, and they find other ways to. i have stopped my card so they can't but that won't stop them making my policy viod and charging me the earth, it seems thats how they are earning, no robbing their money.
Call Aviva again, the policy has changed, if you say you have more (even if we haven't received proof from your previous insurer and if you are sure that you can't get it) we will send you proof of more
