So can someone tell me are swans the only protected animals under the queens authority...or does she have more animals that are protected?

I think any stugeons found in the UK belong to the Queen well . Not sure though.

Just googled it and Yes any sturgeon or whale caught/ found in UK has to be offered to the Queen . Dates back to Edward II .
She never accepts them but they have to be offered , they are classified as 'Royal Fish'
Yes I know whales are not fish but blame Edward II !
